A desktop machine for children
Bring the makerspace to you. Remote learning for S.T.E.A.M. subjects.
Why did we pick this idea to work on?
We realized that current machine manufactures are focused on making feature rich desktop CNC machines but these machines are suitable for use by experts or under ideal conditions. Their workflows are highly technical and not user-friendly for new makers. New makers endure long learning curves or have to work with a technical intermediary in order to make objects. We want to resolve that difficulty by introducing a desktop machine that is designed for learning to make for non-technical users (children).
